Institutional Statement of Principles

CIFA is an international non-profit organisation based in Switzerland.

It is independent of individual commercial interests. It exercises no governmental function and does not replace regulatory authorities. It acts as an institutional reference system.

All procedures — certification, recognition, admission — follow defined governance and ethics principles. Decisions are documented and remain traceable for the organisation concerned.

Recognition by CIFA confirms conformity with the underlying framework, within the defined scope and at the point in time assessed. Statutory and regulatory requirements always take precedence.
